Dr. Cheryl Flink is Senior Vice President, Director of Research at Truist Leadership Institute. She contributes to the strategic direction of Truist Leadership Institute and leads all leadership development research. She is an adjunct faculty member at UNC Charlotte’s Belk School of Business and is the author of Doing Well and Doing Good: Human-Centered Digital Transformation Leadership. She has been Director of Research since March 2023 and is a member of Truist Leadership Institute’s Senior Leadership Team.
Previously, Dr. Flink served as Global Vice President, Leadership Research and Analytics at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). Prior to joining CCL, she led multiple functions in venture capital and private equity-backed firms and served on the Board of Directors for a digital transformation company. Her career has focused on leveraging data, analytics, and technology to accelerate growth. Today, her work is informed by these experiences and centers on understanding how investing in leaders impacts an organization’s ability to achieve both economic and social value.
Dr. Flink advocates for equitable leadership opportunities for all individuals. She has supported women in business through a variety of initiatives, including Project Self-Sufficiency, and is passionate about transforming the foster care system. She serves as an advisor to the organization Think of Us and as a Guardian ad Litem for foster children in Guilford County, North Carolina.
